a D&D London restaurant

Business as usual at Paternoster Chop House

Set to the awesome backdrop of St Paul's Cathedral, Paternoster Chop House is an unpretentious restaurant that offers diners traditional and robust British dishes in relaxed, modern surroundings. head Chef Bruce Wilson has created some wonderful delights on the menu including Longhirn rump of beef from huntsham Farm in the Wy Valley cooked to perfection and served with creamed horseradish, or delicious monkfish caught by the Bean family out of Helford in Cornwall, served with a heritage tomato and samphire stew.

Housed within Paternoster Square, our restaurant is the ideal setting to enjoy an à la carte lunch or dinner, from our extensive British menu.

As the seasons change so does the menu. Our selection of fish changes daily, arriving each morning from the South-West coast, caught from small day-boats that return to shore daily. We also feature a Beast of the Day. All our meat is butchered in-house by our master butcher so we can offer a wide range of cuts and cooking styles.

Paternoster Square itself has a history of bustling ale and coffee houses supplying stationers, authors and publishers on Paternoster Row. Now the square is dominated by financial institutions with the London Stock Exchange and investment banks standing side by side with St Paul’s and its rich history.
