This September Paternoster are bringing Britain’s best butchers to the City!
Our very own Head Chef James Hulme has teamed up with “The British Beefeaters”, 6 of Britain’s finest butchers, to create a one-off menu available in the restaurant.
The menu will be available at Paternoster Chophouse for two weeks from 2nd September to 14th September, prior to the World Butchers’ Challenge 2020 in Sacramento, California, at which The British Beefeaters will be competing.
A choice of five dishes will be available for lunch and dinner and feature meat masterpieces such as the Braised Shin of Dexter beef dish; scooped out marrow bone mixed with butter, chilli butter and refilled, and which previously won ‘World’s best beef product with split shin’ in the 2018’s Championships.
The menu showcases both the team’s butchery skills and creativity in transforming the cuts of meat into showstopping dishes, using meat which is locally sourced from the British Isles.
Our bar team have also teamed up with Jura Whisky to bring you a menu of perfectly paired whisky cocktails to be enjoyed alongside the dishes.
